1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RoufyStore.com ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and RoufyStore.com, an Egyptian e-commerce marketplace for importing goods.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Not create multiple accounts or transfer your account to others

You may sign in using Google OAuth. By doing so, you authorize us to access basic profile information as described in our Privacy Policy. You remain responsible for all activity on your account regardless of sign-in method.

3. Marketplace Rules

For Buyers

• You agree to pay the listed price plus any applicable taxes, customs duties, and shipping fees
• Orders are binding once confirmed; cancellation is subject to our cancellation policy
• You must provide accurate shipping information; we are not liable for delivery issues caused by incorrect addresses
• You agree to inspect goods upon delivery and report issues within 7 days
• Chargebacks or payment disputes filed without first contacting our support may result in account suspension

For Sellers

• You must provide accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing
• You are responsible for fulfilling orders within the stated timeframe
• You must comply with all applicable Egyptian laws regarding product safety and labeling
• Counterfeit, prohibited, or illegally imported goods are strictly forbidden
• You agree to our commission structure and payment terms as outlined in your seller agreement
• We reserve the right to remove listings or suspend seller accounts for policy violations

4. Customs, VAT, and Import Duties

As an import marketplace, please be aware of the following:

• Imported goods are subject to a 14% Egyptian customs VAT in accordance with Egyptian Value Added Tax Law No. 67 of 2016
• Additional customs duties may apply depending on the product category and country of origin
• Displayed prices may or may not include customs duties and VAT; this will be clearly indicated at checkout
• You are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes imposed by Egyptian authorities
• Delivery times may be affected by customs clearance procedures
• RoufyStore.com acts as a marketplace facilitator and is not the importer of record unless explicitly stated

5. Payment Terms

• All payments are processed securely through Paymob, our authorized payment gateway
• We accept credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as displayed at checkout
• Prices are listed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) unless otherwise stated
• Payment must be completed at the time of order placement
• Refunds, when approved, will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days
• We do not store your full payment card details; all card data is handled by Paymob

6. Shipping and Delivery

• Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed, particularly for imported items subject to customs
• Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to your specified address
• We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, force majeure, or carrier issues
• You must be available to receive deliveries or arrange for an authorized recipient

7. Returns and Refunds

• Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for most items, provided they are unused and in original packaging
• Certain items (perishables, personal hygiene products, custom orders) are non-returnable
• Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the item was defective or incorrectly shipped
• Refunds are subject to inspection of the returned item

8. Intellectual Property

All content on RoufyStore.com, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of RoufyStore.com or its content suppliers and is protected by Egyptian and international intellectual property laws.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission
• Sellers retain ownership of their product images and descriptions but grant us a license to display them on the Platform
• Trademarks, service marks, and logos displayed on the Platform are the property of their respective owners
• If you believe content infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us with a detailed notice

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Egyptian law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other user accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without our written consent
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Engage in price manipulation or fraudulent transactions
• Circumvent any security features or access restrictions

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Egyptian law:

• RoufyStore.com is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific transaction in question
• We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items sold by third-party sellers
• We are not liable for customs seizures, confiscations, or delays by governmental authorities

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RoufyStore.com, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Egypt.

Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days from the date of written notice of the dispute.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise inappropriate. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately, though provisions that by their nature should survive (such as limitation of liability and governing law) will remain in effect.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
